Buhmmyung scholarship Foundation is established in 1990 with private funds of chairman, Myung Won Kim, and the donation of retired executives and Buhmwoo. The foundation supported the scholarship for university students and research expenses from establishment. From donation for the child household heads of 30 high school students in cooperation with Korean Social Welfare Funds, we have expanded the province. Since 1999, we have selected 39 unfortunate high school students of farming and fishing villages in cooperation with educational administration and provided all the tuition for them from entrance to graduation.

- The foundation was established to contribute to

and providing scholarships to middle and high schools
and universities.

With operation fee aid to educational institute centered,
we have been providing various research expenses and
supporting academic activities for Pohang university
of science and technology, Hanyang university, Inha
university. etc and donating textbooks and equipments to
farming and fishing villages and information equipment
to elementary school (branch school)
In July, 2000, we completed construction of the training
facilities (3 lodging facility , seminar room, dining
room)
in Pyongchang educational administration, Kang won province.

We set up sisterhood relationship with Yopo village
, Bongpyong myon, Pyongchang kun, Kangwon province and
Sado village Hwa jung myon, yeo su si, South Jeonlla province
and lay a long-term independent foundation, energize
local residents ,so contribute to the improvement of farming
and fishing villages through helping farmers
and fishers, the direct trading implementation and promotion
of special products, donation of village improvement,
establishment of village scholarship group, supplying
scholarship to children, establishment of village hall. |

We are sponsoring the disabled working
contest and Christian social welfare organizations presided
by Walking Movement Center for the Handicapped in South
and North Korea to help the disabled recover and lead
the normal life.
